The day at Kelvins

I didn't blog about it yet lolol and it happened on Wednesday. I spent most of the day at Kelvin's place. In the morning I went with Kevin to catch the bus. He thought I arrived late =='. I swear he told me to arrive his place at 8:30 to catch some 8:40 ish bus. It wasn't even 8:30 and he thought I was late since a bus just went. Another bus came just about when we met up and he made us run to catch it since it might've been our bus. Lol it wasn't. It was another 10-15 minutes before our bus came. We went and met up with Matthew Ngo, Raymond Duong (the chef for the day), Michael Vo and Harley Hoang at Cabramatta Woolies. We helped Ray buy some ingredients for what he was gonna make today hahhaha. So many different types of one thing! All the different type of vanilla extract :L. There was Immitation Vanilla for less than 2 bucks but Ray decided to buy the real Vanilla cane thing for close to 10 bucks. Well eventually we finished buying the ingredients then we headed over to catch the train to Lidcombe(Where Kelvin lives).

We got there and then we had to find our way out of the station lolol. Ray has bad memory... He was gonna take us out of the wrong side of the station :L. Kelvin's mum was gonna pick us up near some breadshop. She has some blue 4 wheel drive or whatever (I'm horrible with cars). Coincidentally, there was a car outside a breadshop which looked like Kelvin's car. We would've went into it if we didn't see that there was a white person in the driver seat lol. For some reason we decided to move away from the breadshop and go onto a different street. Luckily Kelvin's mum was heading that way I guess :L. If you didn't notice, there were 6 of us and a car that can only fit 5. Kelvin's mum was already in. Kelvin's mum is so cool, she was like "get in". She wanted all 6 of us to go in LOOL. 1 at the front, 4 at the back. That still left one of us out. It was too risky to get someone in the trunk though hahaha. So we split into 2 groups of 3 and made Kelvin's mum drive back a second time :S. That wasn't very good of us.

We got to Kelvin's house and Winston and Michael Tran was already there. Michael Tran was playing LoL... and of course he was failing cause he sucks at it lol. Well Ray started to prepare some of the ingredients to cook so the rest of us helped out a bit every now and then and we chilled and mucked around like us guys do. We watched some youtube vids on Kelvin's TV. That's pretty cool :L. More people arrived later on. First thing Ray made were some salmon filled wonton stuff :L. I helped out a bit with that too. I got to fold up the wonton. It was pretty much salmon put inside wonton wrap/skin. I made lots of retarded shapes. I made a spring roll shaped one too. It was boiled then put with Ray's own special Creamy Mushroom sauce. He had no recipe for it. It's his own creation :L. It tasted really nice. I took the ones I made, the retarded shaped ones. Stupid Harley took my spring roll and ate it. He was the first one to try it out or something before we ate at the table and he decides to go and eat my spring roll. Asshole. After we ate, Kelvin made some deep fried chips for us. We still had some leftover unboiled wonton things so we decided to deepfry some of them. It turned out alright but I guess the salmon doesn't go too great deep fried :L. Boiled tasted better. Also, the only one not helping cook was Michael Tran lolol. Him and his LoL. He ended up doing the dishes (Y).

After that, we mucked around more while Ray made his next dish. A Creme Caramel. Some people helped out every now and then but I never actually did for this dish I think.Playing and failing games of COD (Y). At least I do somewhat better than Michael Tran. I got a triple kill along the way too! Yeah!! Eventually Ray was done making the food :L. There wasn't enough for everyone so some of us shared with someone else. To be fully honest, it wasn't as great as I thought it would be :L. Still was alright. If you ate the strawberry, the thing itself and the caramel, it tasted pretty good. It was a somewhat bitter taste in it as well :L. Well pretty soon after that I had to leave. I was the first one to leave. I left early since my parents wanted me home early :L. I missed out on the macarons ray were gonna make. Oh wells. Oh yeah, Kelvin's Grandma drove me back to the train station. Thanks for that. Say thanks to her again if you read this Kelvin. She's really cool. A lot more cool than my grandma :L. Firstly, she can drive. Also she talks pretty normal and also she seems like she can look after herself lol. Pretty cool grandma.

Well that's how the day at Kelvin's went. I had fun. Late post for it. My bad lol. Here are some thingymabobbys lol.
